Hannah’s Healthy Habits: November

Hi everyone! Hannah, here!

I love discovering products that make healthy choices easier for busy families. Each month, I share some of my personal favorites—simple swaps that have worked well for our family.

These are just my experiences and suggestions. I encourage you to do your own research and see what works best for your family's unique needs and preferences.

So, what are we sharing this month?

Hannah’s Healthy Habits:

Earthley Wellness Dishwasher Detergent

The holidays are upon us, which means more hosting, more food, more treats, and more…dishes. (Who doesn’t love dishes?)

This detergent effectively cleans dishes without harsh chemicals, making it a great option for your home – both as a routine staple and for extra peace of mind around holiday parties, friendsgivings, and all your festivities. We love that it is made from plant-based ingredients, using zero artificial colors, fillers, flavors (natural or artificial), preservatives, added sugar, sodium benzoate, acetaminophen, ibuprofen, or other junk!

Snack Swaps:

Bone Broth Hot Chocolate

Who thinks we’re in for an extra snowy winter? What better way to warm up after a chilly day outside than with hot chocolate?

Even better - bone broth hot chocolate comes with all the chocolatey goodness, PLUS a whole lot of extra nutrition to keep your immune system strong. There are many recipes available, but here is a great one to try out!

INGREDIENTS

  • ½ cup of chicken bone broth

  • 1 cup of milk (your choice)

  • 2 Tbsp of maple syrup

  • 1-2 Tbsp of raw cacao powder

  • Splash of vanilla

  • Pinch of sea salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan

  2. Bring to simmer over low-medium heat, until completely combined

  3. Optional: For extra froth, blend mixture

  4. Pour into a festive mug and enjoy!

  5. Optional: Add some whipped cream, nutmeg, and cinnamon on top!

Remember, these are just my personal experiences. Always do your own research and consult with your healthcare providers about what's right for you. Feel free to pick what feels doable for your family and see how it goes!
