Nick Nathe: “Getting By Isn’t Good Enough.”
Being a dad is the most rewarding role I’ve ever had—and the most demanding. Add in running a full-time real estate business, serving clients across southern Minnesota, staying active in our community, and being present for my family, and it’s safe to say that life doesn’t really slow down.
For a long time, I thought I just had to power through or ignore the stress, fatigue, and soreness that came with the hustle. Over time, however, that mindset wore out—physically and mentally. Steady care with the team at TOV Chiropractic has been a game-changer.
I first came to TOV with the kind of issues that many dads probably write off: tightness in my lower back, shoulder tension, headaches that crept in during long workdays, and a general sense that I wasn’t operating at my full potential. I wasn’t in a crisis, but I also wasn’t thriving. And when you’re constantly juggling responsibilities—as a dad, a husband, and a business owner—just “getting by” isn’t good enough.
Through consistent chiropractic care at TOV, I’ve noticed real changes. My posture has improved, my energy levels are more stable, and I’m able to handle both physical and mental stress better than I could before. I sleep more soundly, recover faster after workouts, and, most importantly, I’m more present and patient when I’m at home with my family.
What I’ve come to understand is that chiropractic care isn’t just about reacting to pain—it’s about being proactive with your health. It’s a simple investment in keeping your body aligned so you can stay sharp, active, and resilient.
So, to the other dads out there who are constantly putting everyone else first: I get it. But you can’t show up for your family, your business, or your community if you’re running on empty. Chiropractic care has been a key part of how I stay at my best—and I’d encourage any busy dad to consider making it part of their routine, too.
