Celebrating Six Years of TOV
As we head into May, we are looking forward to celebrating 6 years of practice. Although a lot has changed since we first opened, our mission remains the same: to give Mankato and the surrounding areas the truest and most dependable source of healthcare. We want to serve our community through neurologically based chiropractic care, allowing individuals to heal from the inside out. Our desire is to help individuals and families reach their full health potential so they can function the way God intended. In honor of celebrating 6 wonderful years with those we have the privilege of serving, we wanted to share the story of how we got started just a short time ago.
Dr. Ethan always had a desire to pursue a career in the healthcare field. He was fascinated by the human body and had a passion to help people. Although I had known this about him from the very beginning, it was never a desire of mine. I was just along for the ride. We both attended school at Minnesota State University, Mankato for our undergrads and then headed to Northwestern Health Science University, where Dr. Ethan completed his Doctorate of Chiropractic.
Throughout his time in Chiropractic School, through mentors and office shadows, we began to discuss what it might be like to open an office of our own. After prayerful consideration of our future plans, we decided to move to Mankato to open a practice. We wanted to create something that would allow us to serve our community with true, principled chiropractic care and bring health and healing to Mankato and the surrounding areas.
After a lot of hard work, building out our office, late evenings of painting and putting together office furniture, and connecting with our community, we opened our doors on May 20, 2019. In our first year, we learned a lot. We had the opportunity to serve many new faces, we got pregnant with our Ellie girl, we had to adapt during a global pandemic, we hired a team and most importantly, we got to experience the many miracles of healing through chiropractic care. Every year has continued to provide many encouragements and reasons to be thankful.
We feel so blessed for all that has happened over the last six years. We have had the joy of celebrating pregnancies and new babies, seeing people return to their favorite hobbies pain-free, medications reduced and eliminated, mental health improved, surgeries avoided, and families getting well together. We have grown a wonderful team to serve alongside and we have such wonderful practice members who make us smile every single day. TOV has been a place of hope and healing for not only those we serve, but for our family as well. We are so thankful for six wonderful years in practice, and we are looking forward to many more.
